Story

“The Month of the Ether Hunt draws to a close. The carnival stalls are packing up their wares; the racing parties are coming down from the summit, laughing amongst each other; and the trodden paths are already beginning to grow over once-more. Looking up into the setting sun, you drink in the warm pinks, letting the joy – and tidbits of fear – from these memories sink into your skin. They dance with the comforting breeze, carrying the gentle aroma of spring soil through your lungs.

“Much like the ceaseless winter, it is time to leave the Sweetheart Summit. Spring is coming, and it is time to go home.

“But as you begin to take the dirt road out of Papurie, something glitters from the roadside. After just a pace into the grass, you find a strange trinket nestled in the grass before you. It's eyes glow a spring-green from it's bed of grass. The blades around the trinket seem almost greener and healthier than those around it, and your mind fixates on the intricate carving. Before you even realize it, you paw has snatched the carving from its nest, where it now rests in your satchel as you cheerfully skip your way home.”

Hello, Island Dwellers! We hoped you enjoyed your first Ether Hunt. If you missed out on the event, never fear! This holiday will be returning next year, and we have even more activities to come.

In fact, Safira Island is beginning its very first Story Arc!

Story Arcs & Storyline Prompts

Story Arcs are quests, events, and games that tie directly into the island’s lore. In fact, most of your choices will even turn the tides of fate! You can find all Story Arc Prompts in the "Storlines" prompt category.

“A Trinket for a King” will be available for completion during the next month. Make sure to submit the completed prompt before April 13^th, as this prompt will retire afterwards. Retired prompts will be moved into the “Legacy” category, and although they may still be completed, they will only reward Opals, and will have no effect on the story.

New Exploration: Kelp Farms

Although the Sweetheart Summit is closed-off with the end of the Ether Hunt, a new location has taken it's place! Log in once-per-day to see what you're able to uncover between the reeds of seaweed in the haunted Kelp Farms.

Ether Hunt King of the Hill Raffle

The race was a smaller one this year, but the fight to the finish was an impressive one nevertheless! At the end, onlookers watched with baited breath as the victor raced past the finish line...

And with her sword and scales proudly shimmering in the sun, Watercolor_Splash's Sirena crosses after a valiant battle against the mountain beasts! Watercolor_Splash, a King of the Hill patch has been awarded to your account.

Ether Hunt Design Raffle

The raffle for AQUA-044 has also been rolled, and the winner is... Watercolor_Splash again! Congrats on hitting a lucky-streak!
