Ether Hunt

Challenges were different for everyone. One person might say that the beasts were the biggest challenge, others might say that it was the aggressive foliage somewhere up the mountain, and the rare few would say that it was the pale aqualox that wandered the mountains that became their biggest challenge, forced them to turn back. That pale aqualox looked over next to him, where a few meters away stood the same large male that he met before, right here, on the path to the summit. And now...

"Impossible!" Molt roared out, scaring the younger lox next to him. "Uh, what is?" Aegis questioned, and it didn't take long until he got an answer. "I'm Ill! I can't possibly get sick after years of living under the earth, but there's no other explanation!  My heart is racing, my mind is clouded by thoughts of this... strange little man I spend time with. My legs are unable to hold up my body weight, and my face feels warm! After all my years, I never thought anything would feel warm...

"Oh, come on you old coot! What's the worst that could possibly happen by you getting out there a little and telling them you like 'em?" Drish whined, the small dragon leaning over with the help of Zilke's little light in front of their face. "Uhm... yes, Mister Goblin, surely nothing that bad could happen."
