The water content of this grass is so infinite that -- no matter how long it's burned -- it will never turn to ash, although the eternal golden-colour makes some Safirans claim that the grass is not made of water, but instead honey and nectar. The flavour certainly doesn't disprove this theory. Many sweet-tooths fill their pantries with Phoenix flour, as it's perfect for dessert breads and is great for bakers new to cooking with fire.
