Durran is a withdrawn aqualox from Farport. He owns a boat that he cherishes more than anything, named the "Steelheart" after his family. He can be curt and rough around the edges, but he'll warm up to others once they make the effort to know him, even revealing a sense of humour underneath all those layers.
