Description

These doves hear everything within a half-kilometer radius and sing back the information in a reverberating trill. When in a dormant state, their appearance is that of an off-white dove or pigeon, but when they are echoing sounds, eyes illuminate from spots across their feathers. While some doves have eyes that take the appearance of light beams, others have eyes that shift from their bones into golden rings that orbit around the bird.

A flock of echo doves is known as a "cacophony" due to the indistinguishable chatter that unleashes upon being startled.
