Description

These bison live at the northern island's central stretches, favoring the region's flat plateaus. They are named for their tusks that curl and intertwine with one another and become blind as their eye tusks grow in. This makes the bison particularly flighty and aggressive towards sudden sounds and disruptions in the spirit dimension.

Ringed bison are a popular target for trophy hunters and gourmets alike. Some northern farmers have begun to raise ringed bison in captivity, but many claim it is not the same as a wild-hunted bull. Nevertheless, farmers still flaunt their ringed bison herds with pride, as plenty of time and care goes into raising the beasts to tame their jittery natures.
