Description
These tiny invertebrates are neither lobsters, nor mites, but are more similar to a silverfish or isopods. They love to gather in old stone and slowly eat away at the magic residue built up inside. They are especially common in carved-pieces, as the artist's inspiration for the piece naturally imbues the rock with lots of magical energy.
Altough they are very much a pest to them, a few archeologists keep jars of Lobster Mites, which are enchanted to obey their commands. These enchantments compliment the inverebret's nature, and turn the bugs into a dowsing rod for long-lost relics and burried artifacts.
