"Buried deep into the earth a creature has burrowed with their regrets. Further and further they dug, farther and farther into the planet's core they disappeared, heat blistering their skin and solidifying onto their fur-like scales. And it was there where they slumbered, letting their memories melt away, magma burning their pores and obsidian sand muddying their water mane. A self-inflicted punishment, but it paled to the pain staked into their heart.

"Even now, with all of their memories turned to ash and soot, their stomach still churns in on itself. They awake with a choke in their throat, tears boiling down their mask. They must continue digging. They must escape this feeling, but something is amiss as they heave pawfull after pawfull of soil behind them.

"The earth feels cold and damp. The rocks change in formation, and the smell of petrichor tickles their lungs. Suddenly, for the first time in centuries, the slumbering 'lox emerges onto the surface of Safira. They burrowed so far, they dug a hole straight through to the other side."

The first official aqualox adopt! They're a little rough-around-the-edges, but maybe this jittery little aqualox will warm up to you!

"This aqualox has been up in those branches for a while now: they must love it up there! No... No, wait. They appear to be stuck."

"This lox is too anxious to ever turn down a dare, so when their friends double-dogged them to scale the Great Sycamore, what else could they have done? They'll be getting an earfull for this one, at least, after they figure out how to get down."

"Rain berates the ground, summoning forth miniature pools of pure overcast mirrors. The thunder giggles with the rain, merciless against the earth. The air fills with a rumble, then a chill.

" An aqualox's eyes snap open, leaving the merciless flood and returning to the spring drizzle of reality. A haze sifts through their eyes for a moment before finally settling on the world before them: their home in Central Shores, draped with cloth from ceiling to floor, furnished with delicately carved marble from a time before, where a table sits before them. The crystal ball on the table still fumes with magic thick magic, as the malice-drenched clouds try to break into reality. The 'lox casts a cloth across the crystal ball, sending the clouds dispersing into nothing like a deer into the woods.

"Whatever was that vision? The most their clayvoicence has ever done for them was speak of crushes and muddy puddles, but today...

"The Soul Gems on the 'loxes back glitter with their racing heartbeat, as they being realizing -- with equal thrill and terror -- that the vision today was a real omen. They were one step closer to becoming a geniune oracle."
