"Buried deep into the earth a creature has burrowed with their regrets. Further and further they dug, farther and farther into the planet's core they disappeared, heat blistering their skin and solidifying onto their fur-like scales. And it was there where they slumbered, letting their memories melt away, magma burning their pores and obsidian sand muddying their water mane. A self-inflicted punishment, but it paled to the pain staked into their heart.

"Even now, with all of their memories turned to ash and soot, their stomach still churns in on itself. They awake with a choke in their throat, tears boiling down their mask. They must continue digging. They must escape this feeling, but something is amiss as they heave pawfull after pawfull of soil behind them.

"The earth feels cold and damp. The rocks change in formation, and the smell of petrichor tickles their lungs. Suddenly, for the first time in centuries, the slumbering 'lox emerges onto the surface of Safira. They burrowed so far, they dug a hole straight through to the other side."
