Design Requests

Whether you've finished designing your Safiran for the first time, or are updating an old design you've had for a while now, you will need to submit a design request.

Creating a Design Request

If you're visiting from the "Create a Safiran" tutorial, and you've clicked the "Create Request" button, you can immediately move on to the next section: "Design Request Tabs".

Otherwise, if you're starting with this tutorial, you can begin by going to the Masterlist entry of the Safiran/MYO Slot that you wish to submit a design/redesign for. You can find your characters through the navbar by clicking Hoard->My Safiran. (If you want to submit a MYO Design, click the "View My MYO Slots >>" text in the bottom right corner.)

Click on the character (or MYO slot) that you wish to update. Then -- from the sidebar, under settings -- click "Update Design". You should then see a "Create Request" button, which you can click to begin the next section: "Design Request Tabs"!

Notice: If you do not see a button, there should be a line of text that says " Click here to view and edit it." This simply means you're ahead of the game, and your character already has a design request! Simply click that text instead and continue onto the "Design Request Tabs" as usual.

Design Request Tabs

For ease of readability, design requests are broken down into five (5) separate tabs. All tabs forms must have the "Save" button clicked on them in order to submit your design request, although many fields are able to be left blank. The design request tabs are as follows:

Status

The current status of your design request. This view will change based on how far you're along in the approval process.

Comments

Any additional comments you wish to include about your design. This could be anything, from the placement of your aqualox's soul gem to a URL linking to the purchase of an upgraded rarity slot from AnimatedCritter, although this field can always be left blank.

Regardless if you've decided to fill out this field, remember to hit "Save" at the bottom right corner!

Masterlist Image

The image you wish to be used on the Masterlist, as well as credits for the artists and designers of it. Please notice that mods are not able to change the main image after you submit it, although they can update the thumbnail.

Notice: Masterlist image thumbnails must be a single, transparent fullbody-view. The Masterlist image itself -- although it's highly suggested to be a single, transparent fullbody-view -- can be anything, so long as it has at least one fullbody view that could be used as a reference.

Notice: all required traits for the species you've selected to create must be visible on the main Masterlist image.

When you've finished uploading your images and adding design/art credits, remember to hit "Save"!

Traits

These fields define what your Safiran actually is.

Species: self-explanatory, "Species" is simply the species of your design. You must have a species selected in order to submit a design.

Subtype: the subtype of your Safiran, but since no subtypes are currently released, simply leave this section blank.

Character Rarity: the amount of stat points your Safiran will start off with, which must be selected before you submit the form. All free MYOs will have an "Abundant" rarity.

Traits: Click the "Add Trait" button to apply a trait to your Safiran. You can use these to describe the placement of an aqualox's soul gem, details about additional traits, etc. This field is optional, though, and can be left blank.

Notice: If any trait fields are greyed-out, that means that your design/MYO has that data pre-selected. If you believe this to be an error, simply mention such in your comments when submitting the design.

I've completed the form!

After hitting the "Save" button on all tabs, your Status tab should now display as a filled-in green circle. You should now click on that tab and finally click the "Submit Request" button. A window will ask if you're ready to submit, to which you should click the confirm button.

And that's all there is to it! Assuming all has gone well, a mod will approve your design within 24 hours, and you'll have yourself an official Safiran.

In the case of any issues with your submission, you'll receive a notification from our mods requesting edits to your design, which you can make at your own pace. Remember to make sure to resubmit the form when you're done!
