This aqualox lost his Soul Gem many years ago.
The One Lost in the Currents sacrificed everything to attain true immortality, including its name, its Soul Gem, and its entire identity. It lives in the books of a lost and forgotten library, with only a silent Rok Guardian for company. This paper-ink aqualox is ancient, and no one can ascertain its age: not even itself. So when you appeared, well, it began asking for memories in exchange for knowledge. Why? I wouldn't question it. There is no point in trying to make sense of madness.
