Lake Tide is the High Priest of Aysu's Temple and is revered as the Messenger of the Goddess. Although she is not forbidden from leaving the temple grounds, Lake prefers to dwell in her room, hiding from the attention the outside world gives her. Other Safirans only know her by the rumours of a once-social butterfly caged by responsibility; a lady of pure goodwill who believes those should not be judged by anyone other than Aysu.
Of course, Lake is merely an aqualox, living a (relatively) regular life of sorting tablets and attending meetings (not every day can have prophecies and visions from the gods, after all). She often finds herself wondering if it is such a bad thing for her person to be represented by golden rumours, to which she can only nod. Everything must be done for the greater good.
