Bump in the Road | Misplaced Griffon
While Lacor didn't have any underwater structures to deal with, he most certainly still had to worry about his farm above-ground. The critters were startled by a rockslide nearby, and while his home and farm was completely stable, that didn't mean he didn't have to clean up some of the damage caused by his disrupted livestock.
Just to make sure that everything would stay put together, it wouldn't hurt if he cleaned up a bit and made sure his flood protection was in place. As he lifted a fence back into position, he heard a small chirp a little bit away from him. It wasn't long until he felt soft feathers nudging the side of his body as well.
A tiny bobtail griffon nudged their head against his side again, and Lacor immediately went to pick up the little youngling. "Oh goodness, where is your family, little one?" The griffon responded by chirping again, turning their head towards a mountain nearby, the one that had been a victim of the rockslide. Lacor went to look, understanding the situation as soon as he caught sight of it.
There were a few aqauloxes working on moving rocks away from part of the mountain that seemed to be a cave entrance. No doubt in his mind that the little griffon had gotten separated from their loved ones because of the rockslide. It chirped sadly at Lacor once again.
"It's okay, little guy. You can stay here until they get that rockslide cleared.... let me just... find a good place for you..." Lacor looked around, trying to find someplace close by that wasn't occupied by other livestock. Thankfully, one of the waterhen pens had recently been cleared out from a big sale that Lacor had made- perfect for another small bird-like creature.
The aqualox gently placed the baby bobtail into the chicken house, patting them gently on the head. "You just stay here, and when the rockslide gets cleared, you can fly out, okay?" A singular peep of approval left the griffon's beak, which was good enough for Lacor.
Now, he could get back to cleaning. Hopefully without any more new visitors to his farm.
