Design a Dragon-Themed Pet for Safira Island
Prompt:
For August, Safira Island is hosting a themed event "Here be Dragons". This contest is to design a dragon-themed pet for Safira Island. The term "dragon" is loose, from wyverns to hydras to quetzalcoatl to a poco with too many scales; we fully encourage creative liberties. All submissions will be eligible for prizes, and one lucky winner will have their dragon made into an official Safira Island pet/companion. May the best dragon win!
Prizes:
All participants will receive the rewards listed under the prompt rewards for each submission, for up to two entries.
Only the winners (selected via community vote) will receive the following:

- $25 USD*
- Any one (1) item, pet, or claymore of the winner's choosing. (Excludes "Thank-You" items)
- 1 Friendship Florin
- Their dragon is added as an official Safira Island pet/companion!

Rules
The due date for all submissions is August 31st, 29:59 CST. Late entries will not be accepted.
All dragon designs submitted must be your own work. Entries found breaking this rule will be disqualified.
Winners will be selected via vote, via a community poll. All winners will be contacted for prize distribution upon announcement of the contest winner(s). Please note that second- and third-place prizes will not be rewarded unless the entry milestones are reached (10 and 20 entries respectively).
- To provide equal opportunity to all participants, you may only win one placement prize. (For example, if one pet won first-place and your second won second-place, you would only receive the rewards for first-place, letting another user receive second.)
The first place winner of the contest consents to surrender ownership of their dragon design to Safira Island for use in the ARPG as a "pet"-type item. The designer agrees that they will not resell the design as an "adoptable" or use the design for prints or merchandise, although they may still use it in their portfolios. The designer will also be aware that their design may be re-drawn to better match the style of Safira Island's "pet"-type items. Safira Island will properly credit the designer and will not sell the "pet" for real-life currency, although it may become available for purchase in the ARPG shops for on-site currency.
- Second- and third-place winners will keep their designs, and may use them however they like.

Some effort must be shown, although submissions don't always have to be your best work.
