Puddle Jumper || Knock, Knock!

Lacor was always the kind of lox to play pranks, nothing harmful of course- but what was anything wrong with a bit of fun, maybe a bit of a scare! He had found the puddle as an accident, falling into it and finding himself, funnily enough, next to one of his friends' homes. Fairuza was never a big fan of pranks, but he also was living with another lox now- and Lacor knew that Kairu was more accepting of pranks. His plan was very simple, knock on the window, and then hide away- over and over again until Kairu popped his head through the portal! It was perfect, especially since it appeared that Kairu was the only one home at the time.

Lacor popped up from the portal, knocking on the glass of the window before hopping back into the portal, giggling to himself. He didn't see Kairu move out of the house, but he could hear a very muffled, confused noise from the other side of the puddle, and then a slamming of the door- his cue to pop back out again. He went through the back and forth a total of three times before the last knock, which was followed by what was expected- Kairu poking his head out of the puddle and yelping slightly seeing Lacor staring back at him. "Lacor! Of course it was you! Remind me never to trust you around water!" He spoke with a bit of a bite, but he still laughed, climbing through the portal and looking down at it. "It seems kind of dangerous for a portal puddle to go directly to my window, but at least it was you pranking me instead of some monster falling through and trying to break my house!"

"Well, I'm sure it'll evaporate eventually, Kairu! We could also probably try to mop it up ourselves, who knows how well that'd work though..." Lacor hummed slightly in consideration, but Kairu was quick to keep his spirits up. "Ah, we can worry about that later, how about we go see if we can find more portal puddles for now?" Lacor responded with a giant smile. "Yes, of course! Maybe we'll find a portal to the ocean! Or them mountains! Ohhh I can't wait to see where we go!"
