Cheers to That! | Molten Habits

Molt entered the taven as quietly as he could manage, which admittedly was far from as quiet as he'd like- he was a bulky aqualox after all, and the way that his molten mane crackled lightly near the wood of the establishment. He wasn't here for much, he just wanted a drink, an attempt to go back to some sense of normalcy. It had been so long since he had been among others of his kind, long enough to where he wasn't going to worry about if anyone knew of his past actions.

Unfortunately, he was still an intimidating force just by the sight of him, so it was no wonder why the bartender leaned back a little when he walked up to the bar. He was unamused by the action, maybe even a little bit upset- and the bartender caught onto it quickly. "My apologies, sir. Is there something I can get you?" Molt looked over to the menu that was plastered on the wall over the bar. There was a lot of frilly drinks that he had never heard of before, stuff full of fruit and sugars. He rolled his eyes at the very thought. "Rum, please." He responded.

Some of the other loxes had to prove they were able to drink, but from just the general look of Molt, it was clear that he not only was old enough to have alcohol, but most likely could chug down a decent bit of it without even stuttering his words. The drink was handed over, and Molt slid over a few opals.

He returned to the wall, looking at the rest of the bar from the distance. He wanted to rejoin society, but that didn't mean he was ready to talk to anyone quite yet. Oh well, he could just enjoy his drink and look over the excited crowds.
