RUPTURED DAWN | COLORFUL FEELINGS
The two creatures on the ground looked to the sky as it filled with color. Even if only one of them could see it, there was a sort of natural energy in the air that led the two of them to look up at the same time. Immediately, Drish was trying to get a better look at the phenomenon.
"Hey! Zilke! Lift your head up higher, I can't see!" The little dragon on the Aqualox's head complained, and Zilke gently lifted his head up higher, hoping to help the little creature. "What... are you looking at?" Drish climbed up higher, sitting against Zilke's lure, and staring up at the swirling colors in the sky. "It's the aurora borealis! But, I guess it also isn't, seeing as it shouldn't even be able to show up until... I don't know, four months at least?" Zilke blinked once. "Is that, a bad thing?"
"Uhhh, I don't know yet, kid! It could be something really bad, end of the world kind of bad even! Or maybe one of the gods is angry with the world and is blurring the sky in color just to get the mortals all freaked out! If that was the case, you'd be glad to have me around, huh?" Drish continued to talk, and Zilked continued to point their head to the sky. Even though he couldn't see it, he could feel... something. A difference in the wind, perhaps? Or maybe the physical embodiment of colors that he had no concept of. Either way, he was still somehow in as much awe as Drish was, even without his sight.
"Or it could... just be pretty. Guess you think so too, huh?" Drish looked down to Zilke. "Yeah... I can't see it... but it feels pretty... the way the sky moves... feels gorgeous." Zilke heard a scoff, but then felt a small pat on his head. "You know, you got a weird way of saying things, but I'm glad you're enjoying it anyways."
