To Steal a Golden Goose | Golden Invader

It was less of a case of Lacor finding a golden goose, but more one of a golden goose finding him. He had been taking care of his other pets, specifically his phosphor eel, when the sound of a honk interrupted him. The eel sparked a little with fear at the sudden noise, causing Lacor to flinch back and look over his shoulder to see what caused the noise. 

It was then that he met face to beak with the white and green creature, feathers puffed up and eyes squinting towards him. "Uh, hello... miss?" Lacor started, unsure how to refer to the golden goose in front of him. Where had they even come from? He lived completely by farmland, with no rich folks for at least a few miles, so it wasn't likely that it was from anywhere close by. "Are you... lost?" He questioned, and the goose shook her head, starting to step towards Lacor. 

The aqualox stepped back a little, making room for the creature as she moved towards him. It was then that he noticed the golden goose was carrying something... a bundle of hay, sticks, and leaves; A nest? "Hey! You're not going to just leave your nest here are you?" In response, The goose simply walked past the aqualox and sat the nest down next to the phosphor eel's pond, stepping into it and sitting down with a large ruffle of feathers. "I will... take that as yes." Lacor sighed, coming up closer and taking a look at the golden goose once more. They didn't have a collar, or any identifying marks that would lead him to an owner. Was this golden goose wild? If so, why would one just wander into his farmland and set up their nest? 

Lacor lightly picked up the nest. While the golden goose made a small noise, it didn't move or fly away. "I'm just... going to bring you inside the coop, okay? It's safer in there." The goose didn't respond, but behaved the entire way there, allowing herself to be placed alongside Lacor's hens. 

He supposed he had a golden goose now- not like it was his choice.
